Every project begins with a story.

For Bellamy on Bayshore, the vision is Nancy Meyers warmth with Ralph Lauren timelessness—a home that feels collected over decades rather than decorated all at once.

The foundation is intentionally quiet. Warm creams, soft whites, greige, taupe, natural linen, oak, marble, polished chrome, and aged brass create a timeless backdrop that allows the architecture to take center stage.

From there, we begin layering character:
• Traditional wool rugs with a cream background, deep navy patterning, and subtle touches of oxblood and sage.

• Linen upholstery and tailored window treatments that feel relaxed, inviting, and effortlessly elegant.

• A thoughtful mix of polished chrome and aged brass to create depth without feeling overly formal.

• Original artwork and carefully curated antiques that bring history, warmth, and authenticity to each space—pieces that tell a story and make the home feel as though it has evolved naturally over time.

The goal isn’t to create a home that looks newly furnished.

It’s to create a home that feels established. Collected. Lived in. A place where every room feels layered, personal, and timeless.

One of the hardest parts of design isn’t choosing beautiful materials.

It’s knowing when to stop.

This primary bathroom didn’t need dozens of competing finishes or bold statements. It needed thoughtful proportions, quality materials, and details that would still feel beautiful years from now.

Sometimes the strongest design decisions are the quietest ones.

100+ Decisions Behind One Bathroom

At first glance, it’s just a beautiful bathroom.

But behind every finished space are 100+ design and construction decisions that had to be made before a single towel was ever hung.

Some are visible.

Many are not.

From construction planning and waterproofing to tile layouts, plumbing locations, lighting placement, cabinetry, paint, hardware, shower glass, and the finishing touches—every decision impacts the final result.

When construction and interior design work together from the beginning, every decision builds upon the next. That’s how projects feel intentional instead of pieced together.

Beautiful spaces don’t happen by chance.

They’re the result of hundreds of thoughtful decisions made long before the final reveal.

This is exactly why we believe construction and interior design should be considered together—not separately.

A Few Interior Design Opinions I’ll Stand By as the Co-Founder & Principal Interior Designer of Eridel Construction & Design.

After more than a decade of designing homes, there are a few things I simply won’t budge on.

• I would never choose paint before countertops, cabinetry, and flooring.

• I don’t design around trends. I design around architecture and the people who live in the home.

• Bigger isn’t always better. A well-proportioned room will always feel more luxurious than an oversized one.

• I’d rather invest in beautiful, well-crafted cabinetry than expensive décor.

• Not every room needs to be the “wow” room. Some of the best spaces are the ones that make you exhale.

• I would never buy furniture before creating a furniture plan. Scale and function should always come first.

• Good lighting isn’t an afterthought—it’s one of the most important design decisions you’ll make.

• The best homes don’t feel like a furniture showroom. They feel collected, personal, and layered over time.

• Luxury isn’t about spending more. It’s about making intentional decisions from the very beginning.

At the end of the day, my goal has never been to create a home that looks like everyone else’s. It’s to create a home that feels like it was designed specifically for the people who live there.
