Last Friday, the David Weekley Homes Tampa team partnered with BridgePoint Church Tyrone Building Beds program during CARE Build Month to help build 250 beds for children in need.

Together with our amazing Team Members, business partners, volunteers, and community supporters, we came together to make a meaningful impact for local children and families in need.

Thank you to everyone who donated their time, energy, and support to help make this event possible. Seeing our community unite to give back and help provide children with a safe, comfortable place to sleep was truly inspiring!

"The model home buying process was amazing. Any and all pre-home inspection noted discrepancies were corrected/repaired or mitigated in the closing timeframe I needed it too. Especially, the mold miitigation along with providing certified proof the matter had been resolved. The Builder's Manager Rob even gave me valuable pointers at the final walkthrough. More importantly, the garage floor was kind of crappy and because model homes are normally buy as is. But Rob the builder/DWH surprised me at walkthrough with a beautiful epoxy garage floor. I was so elated and relieved that I won't have to incur that cost. Plus, that epoxy garage flooring just added to the elegance of my new home. Stephane A. (sales) and Rob V., (the warranty guy) were both a blessing during this home purchase process. Stephanie answer expedited every probably annoying question and concern I had regarding this model home. Rob V was such comfort and pleasure to work with. He too tackled all my warranty questions and outlined in grave details what I needed to ensure I kept of my end of the warranty process, and he help me get replacement parts for the microwave and refrigerator that I missed on the final walk through. The entire DHW Rhodine team were extremely helpful, and they each mad this home model home the best home purchase I had in the last 20 years. A well-stocked emergency kit should include nonperishable food, water, medications, flashlights, batteries and a first-aid kit. It’s also important to check expiration dates regularly so supplies stay ready when you need them most.

2,369 volunteer hours in one quarter shows you what kind of home builder you are getting to know.

When you are choosing a new construction home, you are also choosing the people behind it. At David Weekley Homes, our CARE program is one way our Team Members, Homeowners and Partners live out Our Purpose of Building Dreams, Enhancing Lives in the communities where we live and work.

In the first quarter of 2026, that meant packing backpacks of food for kids in Denver, preparing and serving lunch at the Ronald McDonald House inside Children's Minnesota Minneapolis Hospital, collecting toy drive items in Atlanta with local law enforcement partners, creating fleece tie blankets, sorting food donations, hosting donation drives, giving blood, cleaning beaches and more.

The numbers matter: 898 Team Members participated, 2,369 hours were volunteered, $18,147 was raised by Team Members and community partners, and $18,987 was given in grants to local organizations by Dovetail Impact Foundation.
