Dock. Fish cleaning station. Grill. In that exact order. ๐ŸŽฃ๐Ÿ”ฅ๐Ÿฝ๏ธ

This outdoor kitchen on Longboat Key wasn't designed just to look good - it was designed around how the owners actually live. The 48-inch stainless steel grill sits perfectly between the kitchen and the dock. Come in from a day on the water, clean your catch, and you're back at the grill in minutes.

And the materials? All built to survive the environment. ๐ŸŒŠ

- Longboard Products aluminum siding for texture and durability
- Dekton cladding on the countertop and behind the grill - matches the home's exterior
- No wood cabinets - just PVC product that won't warp or deteriorate in the sun
- Panel-sized outdoor refrigerator tucked right in
- Built-in trash and heat storage alongside the grill

Same materials as the house. Same standard. Just outside.

Some details donโ€™t just complete a home - they define it โœจ

Back at Siesta Key, and this staircase still steals the entire show.

The moment you walk in, itโ€™s the first thing your eyes lock onto - not just because of how it looks, but because itโ€™s obvious what it took to get here.

Fun fact: This wasnโ€™t the original plan.

Mid-construction, the direction shifted - from a cast-in-place concrete stair to a completely reimagined design.

What replaced it? A steel structure wrapped in white oak, precision-built to create that clean, sawtooth floating effect. Light, sharp, and architectural - but backed by serious engineering and ex*****on.

We owe a big thanks to Mullet's Aluminum Products, Inc. and YNK Construction (Carpentry) who helped us bring this great feature to life.

A 40-foot underwater mural - inside the elevator shaft. ๐ŸŒŠโœจ

Floor to ceiling. Ground level to roof access. The entire back wall of this glass elevator cab is wrapped in a high-definition under-the-sea mural. But what makes it special isn't just the image itself - it's how the design team thought about visibility. When you're inside the cabin, the mural surrounds you.

But when the elevator moves to another floor, the large glazed openings in the shaft allow you to see the mural from the outside as well - a different perspective, a different composition, depending on where you're standing. And to push it one step further, LED strip lighting was introduced on both sides of the mural, illuminating it from within the shaft so it glows as a feature even when the elevator cabin isn't in use. Itโ€™s an elevator that turns a simple feature into an experience - from every floor.

And it's finally done. Every last detail. โœจ The final trade partner has left the site - which can mean only one thing. The Siesta Key project is complete.

There's a moment at the end of every build where the noise stops and the work justโ€ฆ speaks for itself. And when that moment comes, it always reminds us of one important thing: We get to build these amazing houses from the ground up. And thatโ€™s something we never take for granted.

On to the next one. ๐Ÿš€

When the technology disappears, the design can finally breathe. โœจ

Every track, every pocket, every motor - completely hidden. In this space, the drapery track is built directly into the ceiling pocket. The motorized roller shade lives in its own custom wall pocket beside it. Neither is visible. Neither interrupts the architecture.

Close the sheer layer, and the room stays bright with soft, beautiful ambient light. Close the blackout shade behind it, and the space goes completely dark.

Two systems. Two modes. Zero visible hardware.

And controlling all of it? Not a drawer full of remotes - just a single smart button that manages the shades, the ceiling fan, and the outdoor screens with only one press.

Because real luxury isn't just what you see. It's how effortlessly everything works.

Most garage doors break the design. This one disappears into it. โœจ

The material you're looking at is Parklex - a true wood veneer composed of bakelite and resin, with a UV-protective film engineered to resist fading over time.

Itโ€™s beautiful and simple to install when itโ€™s on its own, but the real challenge was making it flush with the rest of the exterior. Here's what it actually took:

๐Ÿงฑ It started at the structure - verifying masonry opening dimensions and confirming the jamb widths were correct for the setback required by the garage door roller tracks.

๐Ÿ”ฉ From there, the clip system that attaches the Parklex panels to the door had to be accounted for precisely - so the face of the door finished flush with the exterior siding.

๐Ÿ“ Finally, a solid aluminum angle was added around the perimeter of the garage door opening, powder-coated to match the finish on the windows, doors, and exterior light fixtures - and designed to conceal every end grain from the siding.

The result is a continuous surface from the exterior cladding straight across the face of the garage doors - no breaks, no transitions, no compromise.

Because in a home like this, every surface is part of the architecture.

A well-run job site is managed hour by hour, every single day. ๐Ÿ—๏ธ

For Scott Greer, our Project Superintendent, the day starts in the trailer, reviewing schedules, emails, and who's coming on site. Then it moves into the field - walking the property, checking in with trades, and making sure everyone has what they need before the work begins.

Throughout the day, it's constant coordination. Updating schedules. Following up on materials. Preparing detailed punch lists so subcontractors arrive ready - with the right tools, the right scope, and no wasted trips. Looking ahead to tomorrow, and every phase after that.

Because on a project like this, progress depends on communication just as much as construction. Clear direction. Accurate planning. And making sure every trade can do a full day's work without delays.

That's what keeps a project moving - and what maintains the level of accountability and quality we expect on every Trinity build.
