Progress in motion at the SeaFlower amenities jobsite. From swinging trusses to continuing the sitework, and laying the foundation for new buildings, it’s exciting to see this project really start to take shape.

The skyline is changing at the new SeaFlower development in west Bradenton as multiple buildings go vertical. Here's a video showing the jobsite for the future home of the amenity buildings Wessel Construction's team is working on.

Up next, we'll be installing trusses and roofing, bringing us one step closer to another successful project milestone and to delivering these beautiful high-end amenities for future residents to enjoy!

Congratulations to the Lakewood Ranch Inter-District Authority on the ribbon cutting for the Greenbrook Adventure Park Pavilion and Restroom Facilities!

Wessel Construction is proud to have partnered with the IDA on this project, rebuilding the amenities to one of our community’s favorite parks. It’s always an honor to help build projects that make Lakewood Ranch an even better place to live, work, and play.

Great to see everyone at the ribbon cutting, including the design team at WBRC Inc. Florida who worked in collaboration with Wessel to make the project a success.

Outside of running the company, Wessel President Steve Kelle also chairs the Rotary Club of Lakewood Ranch's largest annual fundraiser - the Suncoast Food & Wine Fest.

Having a background in project management is certainly handy when it comes to coordinating the countless moving parts of this event, from 50 restaurants and hundreds of wines to entertainment, 100+ volunteers, and logistics. It’s a massive effort that raises vital funds for local nonprofits and community initiatives.

We’re proud to see Steve leading with the same dedication and teamwork he brings to every project at Wessel Construction.

This week, Event Chair Steve Kelle shared an inside look at what it takes to make this signature fundraiser happen, and it’s no small feat! Imagine 50 restaurants, hundreds of wines, two cooking demos, live music, a VIP experience, and the coordination of 100+ volunteers…all coming together to welcome over 2,000 guests to an unforgettable afternoon.

We’re deeply grateful for Steve’s leadership over the past five years chairing the event, and the incredible committee members who spend months preparing to make this our club's biggest and most successful fundraiser.

Lots of great progress happening onsite at the new SmartyPants preschool in Parrish!

Smarty Pants Pre-School – Parrish Campus Construction Update

As of today, our Parrish campus continues to make great progress! The interior framing, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, sprinkler, and low-voltage systems are all nearing rough-in completion.

Once county inspections are finalized, we’ll move forward with insulation and drywall installation, marking a major step toward bringing our new flagship campus to life.
