When we first encountered this project the homeowner had so many issues to address. There was an overwhelming smell of pet urine, the home did not hold heat, there was a constant draft, past water damage and the threat of possible mold.
So many problems in one 🏡.
Before installing new engineered hardwood flooring, we treated the subfloor with urine neutralizing enzyme cleaner, and sealed the subfloor.
The attic space had completely inadequate insulation from the late 60s (R13) and the Sheetrock need to be replaced.
