Hello Local Businesses!

With the upcoming weekend holiday approaching combined with Governor Whitmer's announcement for certain Region 6 and 8 businesses to open, we are reaching out to each of you to let these businesses know we can provide face shields to all of their employees as part of a donation program that has provided 5700 shields to 95 organizations since April 1st in the EUP. Virtually no businesses anticipated to reopen have been addressed at this point.

We am asking for your help to send this message out to businesses planning or presently open and to specifically address the downstate tourist/travel increase this weekend. We can deliver the required unit numbers in 24hrs. They may contact Dr. Chris Griffen directly via email or phone to get these out to them.

We NEED to protect our essential workers! We hope through this donation program our Michigan communities become stronger; where small shops, business associations, healthcare and local government safely work together to create & preserve the character of their communities. Together we will build & adapt, despite the uncertainty - it's what unites us. Our challenges lead to innovation that moves the world forward.

Status Update from Dr. Griffen:

As of Friday, April 17th - 2200 units have been completed with 68 organizations receiving shields in the Eastern Upper Peninsula (Mackinac & Chippewa County)!
