Rail protection advancements are on all 2027 5x10 Star Lab plasma machines (Orders made from 10-1-2026 +). This is an awesome step forward for all Star Lab CNC plasma tables with this modification. This method of machining the rail and rack lands under the water table not only gives the operator the best possible distance to the work but it protects the linear rail from contamination.

Congratulations to our Friends at Miracle Welding on their Upgrade to a Hypertherm Maxpro 200 plasma cutter. This is a huge leap in consumable life and raw power. The Maxpro has outcut even 300amp plasma cutters in the field running pure Oxygen but only using shop air. The Maxpro 200 was developed by Hypertherm in the USA to be an absolute savage to steel. There are Star Lab CNC machines peppered across the USA with Maxpro 200 power sources. Need an upgrade to your Star Lab? This machine is rated at 6000 pierces in 1/2" steel on one set of consumables and pierce rating to 1.5" with 2" capacity. Yeah! Its a big deal! Need one?

Protected and Engineered for Performance. All Star Lab CNC machines currently built utilize a protected proximity sensor for home position (Also Auto-Gantry Squaring) and can be partnered with High Speed/High Resolution servo motors. But all feature a hardened gear box/gear combo installed on a thick stainless steel mount plate. These are attached to a robust 1.00" thick gusseted riser that holds the gantry above the workpiece on either side. Shown here are also 2 protected lubrication lines for the highest load linear bearings available. The Ultimate setup is available on any size machine we offer. (Auto L**e is an option at time of purchase)
