In 1999, two market leaders – GLS Corporation and Cook Composites and Polymers (now known as CCP Composites) – forged a joint venture to create Composites One, a single distribution organization with more than 30 local distribution centers dedicated to serving the composites manufacturing industry. Today, we serve over 9,000 customers, providing them with thousands of products from more than 400 i

ndustry-leading supplier partners. Our expertise has grown and evolved as well. We’ve moved beyond distribution to become one of the leading experts in Closed Molding technologies. As a founding member of the Closed Mold Alliance, we are committed to helping manufacturers learn and adopt these processes so they can build better parts and increase productivity. In 2012 Composites One became wholly owned by Synergy55 Corporation, the same operating partner that has managed our business from its start. Synergy55 is owned by the Dehmlow family, which has more than 70 years of distribution experience. While there have been many changes and advancements since 1999, what has remained the same is our mission – to serve as a single source offering the widest range of products, services and expertise available to the composites manufacturing industry.

There is no Composites One without our drivers.

This past weekend, Composites One was proud to bring together our Team of drivers for our National Driver's Meeting. The two-day event included leadership discussions focused on supporting our drivers on the road and continuing to strengthen the way we serve our customers. It also featured an inspiring session with retired U.S. Marine and Paralympic bronze medalist Rob Jones, along with some friendly competition during our C1 Driver’s Rodeo.

With more than 40 distribution centers across North America and a dedicated fleet of trucks, our drivers play a critical role in helping customers get the materials they need, when and where they need them. We are incredibly grateful for our Team and the important work they do every day to support our customers and our business.

This week in Querétaro, Mexico, Composites One welcomed customers and leaders from the Aerospace manufacturing industry to Transfiriendo Tecnología en Materiales Compuestos, a technical workshop focused on advanced composite manufacturing processes, including mold preparation, prepreg, infusion, troubleshooting, and live demonstrations.

Thank you to our attendees for joining us for two days of learning and collaboration. We also extend our appreciation to our industry partners, Universidad Aeronáutica en Querétaro and FEMIA, and our supplier partners, Aerovac, CHOMARAT Group, Chem-Trend, Sika, and Hexcel, for helping make this event possible.

From design and testing to launch day, the American Rocketry Challenge gives students a real-world opportunity to put aerospace engineering skills into action.

Composites One was proud to sponsor the National Finals held at Great Meadow in The Plains, Virginia, where the top student teams from across the country competed after months of designing, testing, and launching their rockets.

Yesterday in Kansas City, customers joined Composites One and Polynt Group for the first day of our Leveraging Closed Mold Processes for Production Success workshop.

Day 1 focused primarily on the vacuum infusion process, featuring technical presentations from industry leaders and hands-on demonstrations covering flow rate testing, pleating, processing best practices, troubleshooting, and more. We’re looking forward to Day 2 today, where the workshop will continue with reusable bag molding and Light RTM.

EarthRoamer creates luxury, off-grid expedition vehicles built for customers who want to explore farther, stay longer, and experience the outdoors without sacrificing comfort.

Behind that experience is a manufacturing process built for strength, weight reduction, consistency, and scale. When EarthRoamer transitioned from hand lay-up to vacuum infusion using carbon fiber, Composites One supported their Team with the materials, technical expertise, hands-on training, and supply chain confidence needed to bring that process in-house.

Discover how this partnership helped EarthRoamer build internal manufacturing capability and strengthen production from roughly 18 camper shells per year to more than 40.
