From design and testing to launch day, the American Rocketry Challenge gives students a real-world opportunity to put aerospace engineering skills into action.

Composites One was proud to sponsor the National Finals held at Great Meadow in The Plains, Virginia, where the top student teams from across the country competed after months of designing, testing, and launching their rockets.

Congratulations to The Bishop’s School from La Jolla, California, for being named National Champion, and to all the students, mentors, and teams helping shape the future of Aerospace.

Last week, our Composites One Technical Team wrapped up another successful Closed Mold Workshop in Kansas City, bringing customers and industry experts together for two days of hands-on learning focused on Vacuum Infusion, Reusable Silicone Bag Molding, Light RTM, and more.

Yesterday in Kansas City, customers joined Composites One and Polynt Group for the first day of our Leveraging Closed Mold Processes for Production Success workshop.

Day 1 focused primarily on the vacuum infusion process, featuring technical presentations from industry leaders and hands-on demonstrations covering flow rate testing, pleating, processing best practices, troubleshooting, and more. We’re looking forward to Day 2 today, where the workshop will continue with reusable bag molding and Light RTM.

EarthRoamer creates luxury, off-grid expedition vehicles built for customers who want to explore farther, stay longer, and experience the outdoors without sacrificing comfort.

Behind that experience is a manufacturing process built for strength, weight reduction, consistency, and scale. When EarthRoamer transitioned from hand lay-up to vacuum infusion using carbon fiber, Composites One supported their Team with the materials, technical expertise, hands-on training, and supply chain confidence needed to bring that process in-house.
