On Monday, three STS employees had the opportunity to participate in the Boys & Girls Club of Schenectady Golf Tournament at Albany Country Club to help support an amazing local program!

The Boys & Girls Club provides local youth with a safe place to learn, grow, and build meaningful relationships with caring mentors. Through innovative programs and opportunities, they help young people excel in school, lead healthy and productive lives, and reach their full potential as responsible members of our community.

The Boys & Girls Club serves thousands of youth in Schenectady, and families are only asked to contribute $10 for an entire year. The rest of the funding comes from generous partners and community donations.

For the past four years, STS has been proud to partner with the Boys & Girls Club and support their mission of making a difference in the lives of so many young people in our community.

STS Steel is incredibly honored to be part of the Unionport Bridge, which has been recognized with the American Institute of Steel Construction 2026 Prize Bridge Award for Movable Span!

This achievement reflects the countless hours, precision, and dedication our team invested in fabricating the bridge's complex structural steel components. Every employee who contributed to this project played an important role, and we couldn't be more proud of their hard work, craftsmanship, and commitment to excellence.

This award is also a testament to the power of teamwork. We'd like to congratulate and thank all of the companies, engineers, contractors, and partners who helped make the Unionport Bridge a reality. When talented people come together with a shared vision, remarkable things can happen.

☀️What a great day ☀️

On June 26th, we had an amazing time at our STS Steel Family Day at Schenectady Central Park! Thank you to the 116 employees and family members who came out to spend the day with us.

Congratulations to our tournament winners:

We also enjoyed a friendly kickball game, raffled off Tri-City ValleyCats tickets, handed out awesome STS shirts (thanks, Justin Millington!), and we enjoyed great food from Wagon Train BBQ and delicious desserts from Caked Up With Love.
