Project Spotlight: Pottsville Fire Company | MF005

We would like to thank Pottsville Fire Company, No. 1, for letting us take on this project, and would like to thank our companies, Pioneer Pole Buildings, Pioneer Metal Roofing, Penn Star Stone Veneer & Concrete, and F&L Doors.

The Pottsville Fire Company No. 1 was formed in 2025 by merging the Humane Fire Company No. 1 and Phoenix Hook & Ladder Company No. 2, two companies with roots going back to 1829, shortly after the borough of Pottsville was founded. When the newly consolidated company needed a facility that could match their legacy and their future, Pioneer Buildings delivered: an 18-foot extension, a 32-foot stair tower, three apparatus bays, attic trusses, brick veneer, and a full tie-in to an existing structure. Nearly 200 years of service to Schuylkill County, and a building built to carry it forward.
