PSA for anyone sitting in their house swearing at their 5 window AC's that are struggling to keep up as they rack up your electric bill right now. National Grid still has rebates for mini split units. $1,250 per ton. It would cover pretty close to half the installation cost, operate a lot quieter than window units, they'll also give you efficient heat in the winter, no more lugging ACs around every spring and fall, and lets face it, a window AC doesn't work nearly as well after the first year.

If you don't know any HVAC companies, we had a good experience with Shawn Harris Enterprises out of Scituate.

FYI, I have no stake in this. I don't sell them, install them, or own any part of an HVAC company. I just believe it's the best money you'll ever spend :)
