Job description
Norse Electric provides electrical work for the residential, commercial and industrial industries. We have employees with various years experience in all aspects of the electrical industry with specialty in programming. We are looking for workers with various skill ranges and pay depending on experience. Electricians responsibilities include but are not limited to maintaining all aspects of the electrical for residential, commercial and industrial facilities equipment as well assisting with constructing, developing and designing new equipment operations, conduct daily set-up of area, all while making safety and quality the number one priority. Employee may operate heavy machinery (including forklift) or computer programs; use of a variety of tools and retrieve parts, troubleshooting, work around or with machinery and power sources such as electricity, ensure safety and quality, cleanliness and housekeeping.
Required Qualifications
Must be eligible to work in the United State without Visa sponsorship
Must be 18 years old
Ability to read, write and speak English.
Basic math skills, including addition, subtraction,multiplication and division
Knowledge of basic tools and maintenance related subjects
Willingness to train with company safety, and customer safety programs
Demonstrated troubleshooting effectiveness
Strong ability to identify priorities and adjust as needed
Strong ability to work independently, highly self motivated, self direct and be results oriented
Ability to work weekends
Preferred Qualifications
Electrical technical school diploma/certificate or equivalent a plus, but not required
Knowledge of automated industrial machinery, which includes: motors, servos, pumps, drives, relays, 3 phase power, communication devices and industrial/electronic controls a plus, but no required
Computer skills
Previous electrical experience
Work history in the last 12 months
