Its been great the last year or two doing several SLC PLC upgrades to the CompactLogix platform, Allen Bradley is getting better on their converter but it still struggles with issues going from the 16 bit aspects of the program to the 32 bit. I think every program done including a CIP skid, a Centrifuge, an Alfalavalve process system, a Large palletizing machine, and a Plastic Hooder machine have all needed special conversions done to correct for these problems. Hope to get more opportunities to do these old PLC conversions but hoping some day to find one that converts properly without all the extra program modifications lol
