Joe Luzzi, President of Ecotech Enterprises, Inc., is offering the Ecotech Scholarship which is directed to educating Arkansas students to build sustainable solutions for the state’s water and wastewater industries. The award will offer a $1,000 scholarship to a student pursuing a degree in environmental-related studies.
Eligible students will have already completed their freshman year of studies successfully and be continuing to work on their undergraduate or graduate degree at an accredited university. Areas of study that will be considered are sciences in chemistry, biology, or related fields, as well as engineering or law. Preference will be given to full-time students. All applicants must be residents of Arkansas.
Please contact [email protected] to obtain the Ecotech Scholarship application and to submit the completed Ecotech Scholarship application package by November 30th, 2022. This includes the following documents:
• Ecotech Scholarship application
• Certified college transcript
• A letter of recommendation from a teacher or professor
• A short essay explaining why they have selected their field of study. The essay needs to detail what experiences the pupil has experienced that led them to want to pursue these areas and what goals they hope to achieve. Attention will also be given to communication skills.
The Ecotech Scholarship will be awarded based on the student’s academic standards and achievements, goals, and the quality of the essay. The recipient will be notified by December 15th, 2022. The scholarship will be applied to the 2023 spring semester.
