We're proud to announce that we have been awarded the structural and miscellaneous steel fabrication and er****on contract by Clayco for Rivian Automotive's new Stamping and Automated Storage & Retrieval System (ASRS) facilities in Social Circle, GA — one of the first major manufacturing buildings to rise on Rivian's sprawling new EV campus.

The scope: nearly 5,000 tons of structural steel, roughly 135,000 square feet of facility, and everything from heavy laced crane columns to skid storage rack structures. Er****on begins February 2027.

We're grateful for Clayco's confidence in our team and excited to help build one of the nation's newest EV manufacturing campuses. 🇺🇸

🚀 Reaching new heights for the future of space exploration.
Steel, LLC is proud to have contributed to the NASA Vehicle Assembly Building (VAB) High Bay 3 Modifications Project at Kennedy Space Center in Merritt Island, Florida — critical upgrades to the iconic 525-foot-tall facility supporting the next generation of Space Launch System (SLS) rockets for NASA's Artemis missions.

The project included:
-Reinforcing existing structural connections and members
-Installing 20 new access platforms for rocket assembly and maintenance
-Adding seismic bracing to support the larger, heavier SLS stages

Some of the maintenance platforms weighed up to 325,000 pounds — installed at heights reaching 311 feet above the VAB floor.

With 3,454 tons of structural steel across 33,400 square feet, this project reflects the precision, expertise, and innovation it takes to help send humans farther into space than ever before.

🚀 From the ground to the stars, every mission begins with a strong foundation.

Steel, LLC was proud to contribute to the United Launch Alliance Crew Access Tower at Cape Canaveral, Florida. Standing approximately 200 feet tall, this critical structure provides safe and efficient access for astronauts and ground crews while housing essential utilities, communications systems, and safety infrastructure needed during launch operations.

Designed to withstand the demanding coastal environment and the intense forces generated during rocket liftoff, the tower features heavy steel braced frames, multi-level platforms, and integrated access bridges that support both crew systems and launch infrastructure. Through extensive off-site modularization and carefully coordinated construction sequencing, large sections were assembled and erected while minimizing disruptions to ongoing launch activities.

We are proud to be a part of the Simmons Bank Liberty Stadium expansion at the University of Memphis.

1,492 tons of structural steel. 123,900 square feet of new construction. And some truly unique scope:

• New West Side Tower with premium seating, club levels, and a suspended kitchen
• Structural steel support for a 260+ foot LED videoboard
• Custom rolled HSS ribbon facade matching the stadium's existing architecture
• Expanded concourses, suite towers, and a widened north end tunnel
