We're excited to finally share some news!

Jeremy and Travis have officially accepted the opportunity to become the new HVAC instructors at Kevin Dukes Career & Innovative Academy!

First things first—we are NOT stepping away from Batey Brothers Heating & Cooling. We'll continue operating and growing our business just as we always have while splitting time with each of us involved at the tech school separately. We have an amazing team at Batey Brothers who makes this opportunity possible. This is simply an opportunity for us to give back to an industry that has given so much to us over the last 20 years.

Thanks to the recently passed TRAIN Act, experienced industry professionals now have the opportunity to step into the classroom and teach the next generation of skilled tradesmen and women. We truly believe there's no substitute for learning from people who have spent years doing the job every day.

Since graduating high school in 2006, HVAC has been our livelihood. We've experienced the long summer days, late-night service calls, frozen winter mornings, and everything in between. Now we're excited to pass along not only the technical knowledge, but also the work ethic, professionalism, and pride that this trade has taught us.

The skilled trades need good people now more than ever, and we're honored to have a small part in helping develop the future of our industry.
And for those wondering if we have enough on our plate... apparently we looked at running Batey Brothers Heating & Cooling, coaching softball, baseball, and football and thought, "You know what? We still have a little free time." 😂
A huge thank you to everyone who made this opportunity possible. We can't wait to get started and see what this program becomes!
