A Mini-gun suppressor has been driven by customer demand for a while. The M134D is incredibly loud, and adding a suppressor meaningfully reduces that acoustic impact.
The goal is simple: lower the risk of concussion related injuries and give operators the ability to train longer and work safer whether airborne or on the ground.
This testing is just the beginning of bringing that operational capability to the end user.

Practice makes acceptable.
Using the Claycopter Launcher to practice small moving targets at close distance. This simulates the last effort to engage a drone coming at you the target vehicle. These targets are only 110mm. They are tiny, but no match for the Dillon M134D.
