Monday mornings set the tone for the week ahead. ☀️

As the sun rises on a new week, our crews start every workday with a safety meeting to review the day's plan, discuss potential hazards, and make sure everyone is prepared for the work ahead. Before the first machine gets to work, our operators complete thorough equipment inspections to ensure every piece of equipment is safe, reliable, and ready for the job.

With Arizona's summer heat in full force, we also take time to reinforce the importance of hydration, recognizing the signs of heat-related illness, and looking out for one another throughout the day. A strong start to the week begins with preparation, communication, and a commitment to keeping every employee-owner safe.

We may work in some of the most beautiful places in Arizona, but our greatest priority is making sure everyone returns home safely at the end of every shift.

Our crew of employee-owners is rolling out a liner for a construction water pond that will provide dust control throughout the project, an essential step in keeping the job site safe, efficient, and environmentally responsible.

Rummel recently completed the Bella Vista Detention Basin project for Cochise County - Government County, the main goal of the project was designed to improve flood control and capture stormwater runoff to support the region's water supply. The project's major achievements were:
8,400 CY of Roller Compacted Concrete
50,000 CY of Excavation
62,000 SY of Grading
5,000 TONs of Rip Rap

The result is a durable, engineered solution that strengthens Cochise County's long-term water resilience and safeguards downstream areas for years to come.
