Bon Wier “Innovation Park” Welcomes Clean Holding Company as Interest in East Texas Energy Campus Accelerates
USA BioEnergy’s rail-served, opportunity-zone campus continues to attract leading energy and digital-infrastructure innovators; agreement with Clean Holding Company progressing toward closing
Scottsdale, Arizona, July 31, 2026 — USA BioEnergy today welcomed Clean Holding Company (CHC) to the growing roster of innovators drawn to its East Texas campus at Bon Wier — the site USA BioEnergy calls “Innovation Park.” USA BioEnergy owns the approximately 1,600-acre property and has entered into a purchase agreement with CHC. The two companies are working together as that agreement advances through its steps toward closing, and USA BioEnergy is committed to helping CHC succeed.
“We built Innovation Park to attract exactly this kind of interest, and Clean Holding Company is precisely the sort of innovator we want here,” said Nick Andrews, CEO of USA BioEnergy. “We own this land, we’re under agreement with CHC, and we’re doing everything we reasonably can to help them get across the finish line. At the same time, we’re continuing to move the site forward ourselves — with a primary focus on the industrial-scale utilities and infrastructure that support advanced manufacturing at the campus. The momentum in Newton County is real, and it’s growing.”
As with any transaction of this scale, the agreement is proceeding through its ordinary steps toward a definitive close. In the meantime, USA BioEnergy continues to own and develop the property and to advance its anchor project — the Texas Renewable Fuels Advanced Fuels Facility — alongside the behind-the-meter power and utility infrastructure that make Innovation Park attractive to energy-intensive manufacturers and digital-infrastructure customers.
“We made commitments to create jobs and spur investment in Bon Wier, and we intend to keep them,” said David Prom, Chairman of USA BioEnergy. “The interest we’re seeing — from Clean Holding Company and from data center and industrial developers alike — tells us Innovation Park is doing exactly what we set out to do.”
“We also want to thank Newton County Judge Ronnie Cochran for his support of Clean Holding Company,” Andrews added. “We are fully supportive of CHC’s efforts and see strong, synergistic alignment with them as we continue to champion our sustainable initiatives at Innovation Park. Leadership like Judge Cochran’s is a big part of why East Texas is such a welcoming home for innovation and investment.”
Innovation Park is designed as a multi-partner campus. It is rail-served, located in a federal opportunity zone, and planned around multiple behind-the-meter power solutions — including advanced nuclear, gas-to-power, bioenergy with carbon capture and storage (BECCS) from sustainably sourced forest thinnings, geothermal, and solar. USA BioEnergy has previously announced collaborations supporting the site, including a power partnership with Applied Atomics and technology partnerships with Johnson Matthey and Honeywell.
USA BioEnergy invites additional innovators to explore co-location and development opportunities at the Bon Wier Innovation Park by contacting [email protected].
