Hey everyone,
As some of you are aware, I started my own business last week. For those of you who believed in me & became my customer, I appreciate your business. I decided to write this because there seems to be some confusion on the energy provider situation that has been going on in the news & on social media. I know it's a bit long but I felt the need to write this. Hopefully after reading this, I will pick up some new customers.

The past few weeks I've seen a lot articles and debates on the news, newspapers, and on social media sites about the electricity suppliers whose rates skyrocketed. It has caused much confusion on what happened and what people should do. Being involved in the market myself I feel obligated to try my best to explain what happened with these companies in question. Some of these companies go out and try and purchase electricity off the grids in small amounts in order to not have to spend so much money at once, when they do this they are usually able to offer the consumer electricity at a cheaper rate for a very short period of time on what they call a "variable plan," which of course means it can change. When the temperatures in the Northeast hit record lows this winter for weeks at a time, the companies low on their electricity and had to go out and purchase more electricity. With it being as cold as it was, we were all using more than usual. Because of this, these companies had to pay top dollar. In doing so, these companies were forced to raise the prices of their "variable rates" in order for these companies not to take a devastating loss. The classic "Supply and Demand" NOT the best way to do business!! Companies like my company "Stream Energy" buys off the grid in MASS QUANTITIES. This not only makes it possible for Stream Energy to give our customers a very competitive price, but it also allows us to offer several fixed rate plans that keep our customer safe from times like these. The number 1 piece of advise I will give everyone is to look at our reasonable fixed rates and lock into one. Something people may not realize is that incumbent companies like PPL are in a sense variable as well.. they change their prices every 3 months. PPL DOES NOT generate their own electricity, they BUY IT from a default company just like EVERY ENERGY SUPPLIER DOES!! Whatever that company charges PP&L, they pass that cost off to you, PPL does not profit anything from that portion of the bill. I have had PPL customers the past few weeks tell me that they never switched away yet and are paying almost DOUBLE what they were. If anyone would like to hear what our prices are compared to what you are currently paying, please feel free to private message me. One great thing that you get out of being my personal customer is that I will always look out for your best interest. I will always offer you the best deal our company has. I would never ask anyone to be my customer if it were going to hurt you. I know I can help everyone save some money. Besides our rates being some of the cheapest around, our company is in the next few weeks, starting to allow our customers to refer people to our company. If you refer 5 people you will get $25% off of your bill, if you refer 10 people. you will get $50% off of your bill, & if you refer a minimum of 15 people, you will get 100% off, FREE ELECTRICITY!!! There is no other company in our industry that can offer you this deal. To give you an easy example of how it works, you refer 15 people, the company takes all 15 bills, adds them together, then divides by the 15 accts. whatever the average bill of all your customers combined is, that is your credit. so if all your refferals added up at an average of a $150.00 per month bill, you would have a $150.00 per month, each month credit on your bill! the best part Is every customer of Stream has this same opportunity! I hope this post helped the situation become a little more understandable. I apologize for this being so long but I felt the need for everyone to understand how this all works!
