Our Story

This year Regional Builders Inc., (RBI) is celebrating its 23rd year in business. The company was originally formed by Robert (Bob) Boyd, who had been developing trucking terminals for Preston Trucking for many years. He saw the need for providing a cost-effective construction alternative for transportation and warehousing companies. This led him into his passion of forming Regional Builders.

While Bob continues to serve as the CEO of Regional Builders, he has turned the day-to-day operations over to his niece, Joan Neal, who serves as the President and has been employed with the company for 20 years. Joan’s husband, Barry Neal serves as the Vice President of Field Services. He has been a key member of the team, ensuring that each project is tailored to meet the customers’ needs. The company continues to provide a great family atmosphere to its employees, just the way Bob intended when the company was founded.

Today, the company has evolved into a multi-faceted construction management company, which is able to serve not only its original industrial clients, but also professional, retail, religious, and other groups. RBI has become well-known in commercial construction for standing behind their work and tailoring their services to the client’s needs. They take pride in offering a variety of ways in which clients are able to achieve their construction goals and objectives. The company has grown over the years, yet they continue to still offer complete personal services to each and every client, ensuring customer satisfaction and the delivery of a quality product.

Hiring RBI early in the project allows the owner to utilize all of the services available including assistance with choosing a location, securing financing, selection of architect, and designing the building.
