At our second annual At Sea Processor Association (APA) Net Recycling Day, 140 volunteers cut and sorted over 55,000 pounds of nets to be recycled. This end-of-life fishing gear will be transformed into reusable plastics, keeping valuable materials from becoming waste.

A special shout-out to our company's event planners, Emma and Sarah, and the incredible team of event planners from American Seafoods, Trident, Glacier, and Coastal Villages.

The event was sponsored by the following generous companies:
Port of Seattle
One Lineage
Robo Bank
Delta Western Petroleum
Seattle Tacoma Box
Japan Ship Machinery and Equipment Association (JSMEA)
Gortons Seafood
Ag West
Kongsberg
Carsoe

In 2025, Arctic Storm Management Group began its Food Safety and Quality Employee of the Quarter program to highlight the incredible work our crew does to make our delicious products. The above photos are our most recent FSAQ Employees of the Quarter, Larry and Austin, from Q4 of 2025.

Larry will always be referred to as the Swiss Army Knife of the Arctic Storm. He is always positive and always there and can be counted on to do anything that is required. He is steadfast and task-oriented. Never complains when working in shipyard and is usually supplying what is needed for multiple jobs simultaneously.

This is Austin’s first year with the Arctic Fjord, but he has already shown himself to be a very valuable member of our crew. He works all over the factory and has the attitude and outlook that one needs on board a fishing vessel. He has an incredible work ethic and shows great attention to detail. He is never afraid to speak up when he sees something that may have been overlooked or something that he thinks can be improved upon. During the fall shipyard he has been part of various projects to help improve food safety and quality.
