SeaGL - Seattle GNU/Linux Conference A grassroots free/libre/open source software, hardware, and culture summit. Join Seattle's FREE, as in freedom and coffee, GNU/Linux conference!

Founded in 2013, SeaGL now features over 50 talks, four keynotes, and the Cascadia Community Builder Award. SeaGL is a grassroots technical conference dedicated to spreading awareness and knowledge about the GNU/Linux community and free/libre/open-source software/hardware. Our goal for SeaGL is to produce an event which is as enjoyable and informative for those who spend their days maintaining hun

Sharing some tough news today, of which the tl;dr is: After 16 incredible years, Ada’s Technical Books will be closing its doors on Saturday, June 6th. πŸ“–βœ¨
β€”
Ada’s started as a dream of a technical space that β€œshould” exist in Seattleβ€”a place for community and curiosity. We are so proud of what we built together, but I’ve reached a season of life where I need to prioritize my family and new career goals.
..but we aren't gone just yet! We want to spend these next two months celebrating with you, including:

πŸ—“οΈ April 25: Seattle Bookstore Day
β˜• Mid-May: Close-out sales begin
πŸŽ‚ June 1-6: Our final birthday celebration week

You can find more details about our closing and our upcoming timeline via the link in our bio.

Thank you so much for your support throughout the years. We have built a truly wonderful community together.
