Job description
We are a Seattle (Ballard) based residential and commercial general contractor who has a history of collaborating with architects, designers, and clients to achieve interesting, value-driven, and design centered construction projects.

We are looking for job site based Site Superintendents. Position available immediately.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Day-to-day management of Method staff and subcontractors to meet project schedule and budget.
- Planning and ex*****on of project tasks; including resource forecasting.
- Escalate any time or budget issues to the Project Manager.
- Identify change orders and escalate to Project Manager.
- Attend weekly client meetings.
- Site surveys and take offs; material procurement.
- Administer job site safety protocols and hold weekly site safety meetings.
- Fill out and submit job progress via a Daily Log.
- Carpentry and other construction related tasks.

Qualifications:
- 5+ years carpentry experience in the residential and/or commercial construction field.
- 2+ years experience leading construction projects and teams.
- Journey-level carpentry skills.
- Exceptional problem solving skills.
- The ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
- An understanding of construction processes.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong leadership talents.
- Basic computer skills.

- Experience with framing, door and window installation, trim work, casework installation, etc.
- The ability to read and execute on construction plans.
- A dedication to quality craftsmanship.

With a heavy heart, Method Construction temporarily closed this week under Stay Home - Stay Healthy orders. It was hard to walk away from employees and clients who feel like family members.

PLEASE do your part and stay home so we can all get this over with as quickly as possible.

Many businesses, including former clients, have been closed for many weeks and we need their products, services, and smiles in our community.
