We are pleased to announce the promotions of Karl Rosman, PE, and Francesca Renouard, PE/SE, to Principal!
Rosman joined SSF’s Seattle office in 2005. A Montana State University graduate and former carpenter, he brings practical construction insight to his work. During more than two decades with SSF, Rosman has contributed to 1,200+ projects, including 800 new and renovated residences. His experience spans commercial, mixed-use, hospitality, community, and religious projects. Recent projects include the new Social Retail Shops at Suncadia Lodge in Cle Elum, new and renovated structures in the Pacific Northwest and Western Montana, and an extensive renovation to his own residence in Missoula. He is licensed in Washington, Idaho, and Montana.
Renouard joined SSF full-time in 2014 after completing two SSF summer internships and earning her master’s degree from UC Berkeley. Her work focuses on renovation, historic preservation, and adaptive reuse, with projects including the Metropole Building, West Canal Yards, and multiple seismic retrofits for The Seattle Public Library. In 2023, Building Design+Construction named Renouard to its 40 Under 40 class.
