Sometimes, nature throws some unexpected curveballs on a job site. Here is one of those very adorable moments. This momma hummingbird is raising her family just a few feet from a scaffolding tower on one of our job sites. Our crew will ensure their pint sized dwelling remains safe through the duration of our work there. Happy Friday!

Another peek behind the scenes at our woodshop!

Our team is hard at work crafting the railing screens for the Bellevue College Railing Project — Jeremy is expertly sculpting while Randy transforms the design from 2D to 3D. Together, they're bringing artist Annette's vision to life, one careful detail at a time.

Rick was out there doing some heavy lifting last week. To make room for an upcoming event at West Lake, we were tasked with temporarily relocating the kiosk that our wood shop crafted and installed in 2024.

Big things are happening on Lake Union...

Our team is flying high, as Donald and the crew soak in the stunning views, while tackling the first phase of the transformation of the Pacific Coast Yacht Services marina.

Phase one: Removing the old, battered siding and aging mechanical components. Swipe ⬅️ to see a few renderings of what this on-the-water gem will be transformed into.

Spring has arrived in Seattle — and nowhere is it more alive than at St. Paul's Episcopal Church. In 2024, Mētis Construction, in collaboration with the Church and Atelier Jones, embarked on a sweeping transformation of this beloved landmark. Nearly every corner of the property was restored, updated and improved.

✦ Custom metal roofing tiles
✦ ADA-compliant ramps & elevator
✦ All-new plumbing, electrical & HVAC
✦ A brand-new parking lot & refreshed grounds
✦ And so much more

The result? A beautifully restored house of worship — fortified for the future and accessible to all. To read the full story behind this remarkable undertaking, visit the link in our bio.

Congratulations to the congregation and parishioners of St. Paul's on your stunning new home of faith.

All of the finishing details are starting to come together at The Lambert House remodel. On the interior, the coffered ceiling and exposed glulam beams are being carefully attended to by the pros at Novo Painting. While the paint and finish are being applied inside, our finish carpenters are taking care of the exterior details. Classic fir porch decking and robust and stately wrapped columns both paying homage to the age and history of the structure.

We look forward to handing the keys back to the wonderful people at The Lambert House, so they can settle into a space that's been thoughtfully improved for the years ahead.

Introducing Whiskers Lodge — a one-of-a-kind boutique cat boarding experience, right in the heart of Fremont. 🐱

Founders Kip and John built this space from a place of genuine passion for the health and happiness of their guests, and every detail reflects that care. What made this project especially special was the collaboration: John, with a family background in carpentry, took on the custom built-ins and cabinetry, while Kip led the interior design vision. Together with Mētis and Atelier Drome, they created something truly extraordinary.

Design/build projects are our specialty — but this one reminded us how beautiful it can be when a client brings their own craft to the table. The results speak for themselves.

Congratulations, Kip and John! We can't wait to hear the meows and purrs filling this space. 🐾 To learn more, via the link in our bio.
