🚢 Thanks for the ride, Washington State Ferries! The view leaving Seattle is always beautiful on your boats. Today, we’re headed across the water to service a Quincy Compressor for a defense client.

🔧 Sure, wrenching on heavy machinery usually means dealing with our fair share of grease and grime, but morning commutes like this definitely make up for it. It also helps that we commute in style—we take a ton of pride in keeping our service trucks spotless and ready to work. Showing up with a clean, professional-looking fleet is just the standard at Cascade Machinery! 🛻✨

Does your facility need a crew to tackle the dirty industrial problems? Give our service team a call at 206-762-0500 or visit www.cascade-machinery.com. 📞

We are excited and proud of our service manager Michelle Chhour for getting involved and being a part of this much bigger picture. Thank you EASA for a great few days.

Happy Big Motor Monday! ⚡⚙️

Is a viral internet trend yet? Not quite... but we’re officially making it one right now!

Here at Cascade Machinery & Electric, our shop floor is constantly filled with heavy-duty industrial equipment, so we decided it's time to start showing it off. To kick things off, check out this absolute beast of a vertical motor in the attached photo.

Our talented crew just wrapped up a complete rebuild on this massive unit. It’s got a fresh coat of paint, it's fully restored, and it's ready to head back out into the field to do some heavy lifting.

Got a massive motor that needs some expert TLC? We’re your team.

Let's have some fun in the comments: Drop a photo of the biggest piece of equipment you work with, or let us know what you think this giant motor powers! 👇

🌲 Beware the PNW "Summer Snow"! ❄️

It might look magical floating through the air, but for your industrial equipment, cottonwood fluff is a nightmare waiting to happen! 😱

Take a look at the air intakes in this photo. That fluffy blanket is actually acting as an insulator, suffocating the airflow to the air compressors. When your machine can't breathe, the motors work in overdrive. This quickly leads to:

🔥 Severe Overheating
🛑 Unplanned Shutdowns
⚡ Skyrocketing Energy Bills
💸 Expensive Repairs

Don't wait for your high-temperature alarms to go off!

🛠️ Pro-Tip: Kill two birds with one stone! If your compressor is choking on cottonwood or already running hot, call us out to clear the intakes and perform a full Preventative Maintenance (PM) check at the same time. While we are on-site fixing the overheating, we will swap your filters, check fluids, and optimize your system for the hot summer months in one easy visit.

At Cascade Machinery and Electric, Inc., we service ANY and ALL makes and models of air compressors. Big or small, we fix them all!

Keep your machines breathing easy this season. Reach out today to schedule your PM!

Even dinosaur wranglers need a change of pace sometimes! 🦖🦕🐝

If you ever visited the animatronic Dinosaur exhibit at Woodland Park Zoo, you were actually looking at the handiwork of this Quincy QGS-20 air compressor! It worked hard behind the scenes to provide the compressed air that brought all those roars and stomps.

Now, this reliable workhorse is starting a brand new chapter. Our team at Cascade Machinery & Electric just relocated this unit to the zoo’s main support shop, where it will provide the essential air power needed for their daily maintenance and operations.

It went from making dinosaurs move to helping the crew keep the whole zoo running smoothly! We love seeing quality machinery get a second life. A big thanks to Woodland Park Zoo for trusting us with the move, and to Quincy Compressor for building equipment that lasts. 🛠️🔧

At Cascade Machinery and Electric, Inc., it is hard to explain all the different things we can do, but here is a powerful example of what we just did for a customer down in Oregon. 👇

They were managing a critical, deep pump station excavation, and failure was not an option. Working in tough, wet conditions, they needed equipment they could count on implicitly. We provided a rugged Vogelsang pump for the critical dewatering.

Check out the photos they sent us, showing the dewatering setup and the massive excavation keeping dry!

Here is what they had to say about the stakes:

"There was a lot more than a pump at stake here. If that pump failed on my account, our pump station excavation... would fail."

When the stakes are high and your project depends on reliable performance, you need equipment with zero margin for error. We are proud to supply top-tier solutions that keep your projects running safely! 🚜💧

Let us help keep your next big jobsite running dry!
