After just over a year we are sorry to say that Green Day Trading & Recycling has gone out of business. I just want to say thank you so much to all of our customers and friends that supported us thru this last year and we wish you all the best in the future! As a footnote I might add, it was our goal to set a standard as being the cleanest and greenest of all the recycling yards in the Seattle area and beyond. I think without a doubt we did meet that goal. Although we did end up closing our doors, we did it with a 5 star Envirostar rating, which most would say is next to impossible for a metal recycling yard to achieve, but we did it. So in closing we would like to challenge all of the other recyclers in the area to shoot for the same. We only have this one planet, once its gone, money cant buy it back. We dont own this world. In fact, we are all just custodians of it for the relatively short time that is our lives. Lets be the generation that will be remembered for turning things around environmentally. We owe that to our kids and our kids kids and beyond. Thank you again-- Marty O'Farrell
