CRI has spent decades grinding floors, repairing concrete, and figuring things out the right way, before it was easy.

Back then, we didn’t have the same tools, technology’s or systems we rely on today. We built our foundation on experience, problem-solving, and pride in the work.

What stands out isn’t just how much has changed - it’s also what hasn’t. Concrete repairs, coatings, and waterproofing have always come down to a few key things:

Concrete floors in high-use facilities often start failing long before people expect them to.

Constant cleaning, moisture, chemicals, and heavy traffic slowly break down coatings that weren’t designed for the environment. When that happens, floors start peeling, delaminating, and becoming difficult to maintain.
That’s when facilities start looking for solutions.

For this project, our crew installed a MMA thin coat system designed for fast cure times and durability in demanding and specialized facility environment.

This project required detailed surface preparation and precision installation to ensure long-term performance in a high-use space.

Before installation, we mechanically prepared the slab to a CSP-3 profile, removed delaminated material, and detailed edge work around doors, drains, and tight areas to ensure proper bond.

When installed correctly, MMA systems help facilities:
✔ Improve sanitation and cleanability
✔ Reduce maintenance downtime
✔ Provide slip resistance in wet areas
✔ Extend the life of the concrete underneath

The result is a clean, seamless, slip-resistant floor designed for durability, sanitation, and easy maintenance.
The performance of a floor is decided long before the final coat goes down.

🚧 Flooring brought to life for this new Cafe in Capitol Hill ☕️ our client selected a 100 grit polish which was a great selection for giving this cafe an industrial type feel. It is a medium-coarse grind and smooths the surface to a matte finish (eliminating any minor imperfections that the floor had and exposing the aggregate for that industrial look).

This type of floor looks nice AND is durable. A durable floor resists wear and tear from factors like high foot traffic and carts/ dolly’s for deliveries. It’s also easy to maintain as the smooth finish prevents dirt and debris from embedding into the surface and is easy to clean.

Check out our latest transformation! We took on the challenge of revitalizing a facility’s lobby and hallways, spanning approx 1306 sq ft.

Our process included:
⚙️ Glue Removal: We tackled stubborn adhesives with precision using specialized tools like the 100 grit Wolf Claw diamond, ensuring a clean slate for the next phase.
⚙️ Crack Repair: Every imperfection was addressed, guaranteeing a flawless finish that stands the test of time.
⚙️ 100 Grit Polish: Our team applied the finest techniques, achieving a refined polish that enhances the space’s aesthetic appeal.
