Who's the immigrant?

It's a question most people answer before they stop to think about it.

Recently, we sat down with our friend Efrain, Owner of whose perspective challenged some of my own assumptions. Not because he was trying to change our mind. Because he shared a story.

We've learned that the most valuable conversations usually start the same way:

With curiosity.

Not an argument. Not a headline. Not a comment section.

A question.

The longer I'm in business, the more I realize that every person carries a story that shapes how they see the world.

Sometimes the greatest opportunity isn't changing someone's mind.

It's understanding why they think the way they do.

As Efrain Medina will be explaining, it’s understanding people, process, risk, preparation, and vision before the work even begins.

Last week we 🛫 to eastern Washington to support the Inland Empire Golf Tournament in Spokane.

This group of paint professionals in Eastern WA have been getting together for nearly 30+ years. There were about 100 golfers registered, tons of prizes,food and drink.

On the course, I watched two contractors realize a GC was playing them against each other for price. But what did they do? They didn’t compete. They picked up the phone, collaborated, and ensured the project stayed about quality, standards and professionalism. Witnessing that kind of integrity? That’s what strengthens this industry.

A BIG Mahalo to and the team for twisting our arm to join the group and WSC PCA Stacy Segal for letting us tag along and supporting our industry.
