A limited palette of materials is used throughout Golden House: cork flooring, rift sawn white oak paneling and casework, and white sheetrock walls are framed by wood structure and black painted trim to unify the central living space.

What we need:
We are looking for a Journey Level carpenter with lead experience to join our team. Our Lead Carpenters run the day-to-day on-site activities. This is a ‘bags on’ position with oversight of other carpenters, tradespeople, and helpers.

What you have to have:
-Journey level carpentry skills
-Minimum 3 years of experience as a Lead Carpenter
-Reliable transportation to and from job site with capacity to haul some materials and tools required

What we will do for you:
-Lead Carpenter ($35-$45/hour)
-6 paid holidays
-6 paid PTO days to start, up to 15
-100% medical, dental, and vision coverage for employee
-Short term disability
-IRA – 3% matching
-$35/month tool allowance
-Mileage reimbursement

We were really fortunate to built this house a few years ago with Floisand Studio, and great clients!

Of course, there’s no such thing as having it all. But Thellea and J.C. Leveque, both with hyper-demanding careers (he’s a neurosurgeon, she’s an ophthalmologist), active lifestyles (they bike, ski and sail), two young children and a labradoodle named Echo, have managed to pull off a pretty impressi...
