Week 8: Meet Lawson | The Law-Dog 🐾

Meet Lawson, SEAG’s four-legged field assistant! 🐶 This Basset Hound is always ready to tag along for a day in the field and help keep an eye on things.

With his nose to the ground and a knack for tracking, Lawson is on the job scouting the fields for pests…one sniff at a time! 😅

Of course, even the hardest-working field assistant needs a little downtime! Nap time is critical when you’re busy being the Law-Dog. 🚓😴

He may have four paws instead of work boots, but Lawson has certainly earned his place on the SEAG team!

Week 7: Meet Mitch Blackman | Agronomist & Sales Representative

Mitch combines a strong background in agronomy with experience in agriculture and mechanical work, giving him a unique perspective on both crop production and the equipment that helps keep operations running.

With a background in plant science, Mitch focuses on carbon-based soil health solutions, biological products, and helping growers optimize crop production.

What matters just as much to Mitch is how he does business…building lasting relationships through trust, integrity, and doing what’s right for the customer.

Family, faith, hard work, and strong values are at the heart of who Mitch is, both personally and as a member of the SEAG team. ⚒️🌳

Week 6: Meet Scott Prospect | Southeast Ag Agronomist & Plant Scientist Rep

Meet Scott! With more than 25 years of experience in agronomy, crop protection, organic production, and biological solutions, Scott brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the SEAG team.

Scott holds a Bachelor of Science in Plant Science from the University of Florida with an emphasis in plant pathology. His background has given him a strong understanding of crop production and the challenges growers face across different agricultural systems.

Today, Scott works directly with growers across the Southeast, focusing on biological crop protection, soil health, plant performance, and practical solutions for a variety of crops, including vegetables, berries, and turf.

We’re excited to have Scott as part of the SEAG team and look forward to the knowledge and experience he brings to our growers! 🪴

Week 5: Meet Kayla Crawford | Customer Relations

Kayla is a familiar face around SEAG and spends her time building relationships with growers, supporting customers, and getting hands-on in the field.

Since joining SEAG in 2023, Kayla has enjoyed building relationships with growers and learning more about the challenges they face every day. With five years of experience in the microbiology space, she brings both field experience and a genuine passion for helping growers find practical solutions.

From strawberries and nursery production to beneficial nematodes and biological solutions, Kayla’s experience continues to grow alongside SEAG. She works across customer relations, sales, marketing, and field support, bringing a little bit of everything to the team.

You’ll often find Kayla out in the field, scouting, talking with growers, and learning firsthand what’s happening on the farm. For her, it’s about more than products…it’s about building relationships and finding solutions that make sense for each grower. 🚜🌾

T-minus 4 days until it’s officially FALL! Even here in Florida, we’re starting to think about changing leaves, cooler weather, and those beautiful autumn colors.

But green grass turning red? 👀

What may look like a little taste of fall could actually be a sign of an invasive pest-pasture mealybug right here in the heart of Florida.

And this isn’t just an agriculture problem. Invasive pests can impact our crops, pastures, landscapes, homes, and neighborhoods.

Week 4: Meet Allen Luke | Chief Operations Manager

Allen brings more than 25 years of hands-on experience in equipment service, mechanical repairs, sales, and field support, along with extensive CDL experience. He’s a reliable and knowledgeable part of the SEAG team.

Since SEAG was founded in 2020, Allen has given 110% from day one. He plays a key role in overseeing daily operations, coordinating equipment and logistics, troubleshooting challenges, and helping ensure our team and customers have what they need.

Dependable, hands-on, and always ready to get the job done, Allen is an important part of what keeps SEAG moving forward. 💪

Growing up in a generational citrus farming family, agriculture has always been more than a career for David — it’s part of who he is. His passion for the industry comes from a genuine heart for growers and a commitment to helping them succeed. 🍊🌳
