Industrial Electrician
Job Summary:
8760 Service Group is seeking experienced electricians who will be responsible for installing and repairing electrical systems, hydraulic, pneumatic and electronic components of industrial machinery and equipment.
Specific responsibilities and job requirements include but are not limited to:

• Installing power supply wiring an conduit such as: EMT, O-CAL, Rigid conduit, MC cable, strut, cable trays
• Troubleshooting electrical components, wiring diagrams, transformers, motors, panels, and circuits
• Installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems such as switch gear, motor controls, electrical panels, CT cabinets, conveyor systems, lighting, and power supplies
• Maintaining current electrician’s license or identification card to meet governmental regulations
• Testing electrical systems or continuity of circuits in electrical wiring, equipment of fixtures
• Diagnosing malfunctioning systems, apparatus, or components to locate the cause of a breakdown and correct the problem
• Strong working knowledge of job site safety as well as ability to complete a company specific safety orientation
• 2-4 years of experience in Commercial, Industrial, Manufacturing, Power and or the Pulp & Paper industries
• Ability to follow electrical code manuals to install and repair electrical systems
• Understand schematic diagrams, blueprints and other specifications required by our client(s)
• Experience working with hand tools, power tools and electronic test equipment
• High standard of integrity and professionalism

Position Overview:
This position has overall responsibility for developing, growing, directing and managing the profitable operation of an industrial blasting and coating department. In addition to production oversight, the Coatings Manager directs customer development, assures outstanding service and customer interaction, marketing and financing production operations.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the development, management and P&L of the Industrial blasting and coating department; makes decisions regarding improving productivity, quality, and efficiency of operations.
- Creates and pursues opportunities for new business to increase sales and revenues; develops and communicates the strategic business plan and its marketing components; defines and implements targeted sales strategies; tracks and adjust sales approaches to maximize results.
- Develops key customer contacts and nurtures long-term relationships; creates and maintains methods for measuring and tracking customer satisfaction; manages customer contract issues.
- Oversees and directs, either personally or through subordinate supervisors, planning and layout of equipment, workflow, assembly methods, and work force utilization.
- Leads and directs the work of others; develops, trains and provides performance feedback to supervisors and others; determines staffing requirements and works through human resources for recruiting, employee relations and other personnel services.
- Assures accurate forecasting of operating costs; ensures the most efficient and effective deployment of limited resources to ensure project success; partners with other business units to maximize staffing resources.
- Works with others to coordinate finishing operations in conjunction with fabrication and staging readiness.
- Performs QA/QC documentation on finishing as needed.
- Maintains clean and safe working areas.
- Develop blasting and coatings budgets, monitor and manage revenue, cost, and profit margins.
- Develop and provide presentations to Customers that describe and explain capabilities and aspects of the industrial blasting and coatings department.
- Supports the business mission and vision through modeling the desired behaviors and communicating and reinforcing the messages through daily activities and interactions.
- May be required to perform field work as necessary.
- Other duties as needed or required to operate and manage the blasting and coatings department.

Supervision Received:
This position will report to the Director of Fabrication Services; position requires ability to perform with minimal supervision.

Supervision Exercised:
This position will manage and direct personnel that work directly within the blasting and coatings department.
This position will be responsible to hire, develop, discipline, and evaluate staff as required.

Qualifications & Skills:
Education/ Certifications: High School or equivalent work experience is required. SSPC, NACE etc. Certifications.

Experience: Minimum 5 years of related and responsible management and estimating experience in the sandblasting and coating industry.
- Knowledge of industrial blasting and coatings production processes.
- Knowledge in the application of protective coatings and linings.
- Knowledge with surface preparation, painting, sandblasting work in industrial manufacturing environments.
- Technical knowledge of protective coatings including experience and familiarity with SSPC and NACE surface preparation standards, product data sheets as well as the proper methods used in the application of protective coatings.
- Knowledge of principles involved in the development of a cost structure for industrial blasting and coatings production processes.
- Knowledge of process improvement and implementation.
- Knowledgeable of the EH&S hazardous and requirements within the industrial blasting and coatings industry.
- Working knowledge of MS Office Suite

Leader of the Electrical Field Service Group which provides Electrical services to Industrial Customers in Power, Petro-Chemical, Refining, Process, and Manufacturing Plants in the US.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
-Responsible for the development, management and P&L of the Field Service Group that provides electrical services to Industrial Customers in Power, Petro-Chemical, Refining, Process, and Manufacturing Plants in the US.
-Manage and direct persons who supervise and coordinate field service activities for projects in the US.
-Ensure Field Projects are being executed efficiently, safely, and within contract specifications.
-Develop, communicate, and update resource requirements (manpower, tools, equipment, management) to support field service projects
-Provide a direct interface with Customers to develop, and execute field service projects
-Develop Field Service budgets, monitor and manage revenue, cost, and profit margins
-Review scopes of work and develop estimates for Field Service Projects.
-Develop and provide monthly reports to the CEO including
o Financial status of P&L
o Highlight for current projects and backlog
o Manpower requirements and associated issues
o Job quality and rework
o Safety record
o Quality record
-Provide leadership to the Electrical Field Service Group for quality, safety, and environmental aspects of the project.

Supervision Received:
This position will report to the CEO and will provide monthly updates to the Corporate Staff.
This position will receive minimal supervision and therefore requires an experienced and fully qualified candidate.
Supervision Exercised:
This position will manage and direct personnel that coordinate and supervise Field Service Projects.
This position will be responsible to hire, develop, discipline, and evaluate staff as required.
Qualifications & Skills:
REQUIRED:
-Minimum of 8 years Managing and Coordinating Field Service Projects with Electrical scope of work
-Minimum of 2 years Managing a Field Service P&L
-Extensive knowledge of the process and requirements to perform electrical Industrial field service work at customer’s facilities.
-Experience as a Project Manager executing Electrical Industrial Field Service work.
-Knowledgeable of the EH&S hazardous and requirements to execute field service work.
-Working knowledge of MS Office Suite
-Experience estimating Field Service Work for Electrical Industrial Projects
-Experience developing budgets and understanding monthly operational financial statements
-Knowledge of codes and specifications typical with industrial electric construction and retrofit projects.
PREFERRED:
-Technical degree (2 or 4 year) associated with Project Management / Planning, Engineering, Construction, or Finance / Accounting
-Knowledge and understanding of Commercial requirements to execute field services
-Have state contractor’s licenses or can take required tests
Knowledge and experience with standard maintenance and construction practices for Industrial Plants
