Today we want to recognize our Warehouse Manager, Shawn Sims! Shawn is the Vice President of N.O.R.T.H. (Northside Organization Reinventing the Honor), which is a local Non-Profit dedicated to enhancing the quality of life for the northside community by assisting residents with initiatives that may consist of health and wellness programs, counseling, career/job development, life coaching, mentoring, tutoring, life skills training, computer classes, childcare and enrichment education amongst other things. Shawn is key in the Avenue of Flags program that works with local businesses/groups to place flags along Limit Ave. & 16th St. during holidays such as Memorial Day, 4th of July and Veterans Day. Shawn and N.O.R.T.H. recently received a generous contribution from the Kiwanis Club of Sedalia for this initiative.
