USBTA/OBP’s Operation Full Throttle is a wrap. It’s been a great week at Kansas City Speedway working with some great bomb techs from around the country! The USBTA and OBP TTE-CI training event in Miami at the Hard Rock Stadium is a wrap. Rothenbuhler Engineering enjoyed the opportunity to team up with Boston Dynamics and Concept Developments to be able to remotely conduct render safe operations by firing the Carbon Fire CF-10 off of Spot the robot dog via the Model 1685 RFD. The event was packed with a lot of other great training opportunities and impressive technology.

Got to spend the day with a great group of guys with the Paducah P.D. Bomb Squad. It was a cold day in Kentucky and a little bit of snow and ice didn’t stop these guys from training and putting the 1685 RFD through the paces. But the snow and ice did conceal the end of pavement, where the p-gravel trap is that is there to stop runaway dragsters, and we needed a little bit of help to get rolling again ;)
