Richard brings nearly 30 years of financial leadership in aerospace, defense and government contracting, most recently as chief accounting officer of MAG Aerospace. He’ll lead our accounting and financial reporting functions and help build the financial infrastructure to support our growth across Washington, Utah and Montana.

“I’m excited to help build the financial infrastructure to support our growth, including designing straightforward operating systems that will give Janicki leadership the clarity it needs to scale, stay compliant and execute on strategy,” Richard said.

Janicki recently hosted delegates from the Utah Governor's Office of Economic Development, Utah Inland Port Authority, Economic Development Corporation Utah and 47G.

During their visit, the group was able to see the type of work Janicki does in Washington versus the type of work at our Utah site. They toured our manufacturing operations and witnessed our technical capabilities firsthand.

Following their tour, they joined President John Janicki for a discussion about Janicki growth, our positive impacts on Washington and Utah communities and visions for Janicki's future.

On October 7, Janicki was pleased to host four of the 10 candidates running for Washington state Supreme Court, including Scott Edwards, David Stevens, Dave Larson and Todd Bloom.

With voter turnout notoriously low in Washington, opportunities for civic engagement are more important than ever. This meet and greet gave our crew a chance to hear directly from the candidates, better understand these nonpartisan roles and experience why informed participation in elections matters.

The candidates spoke about multiple issues facing Washington state, their professional backgrounds and perspectives on the judiciary.

Thank you to each of the candidates who joined us, we wish them the best of luck in their races.

đź‘‹ Please join us in welcoming Dan Voorhies to Janicki as senior director of operations for our new Great Falls, Montana, campus.

Dan retired earlier this year after 25 years in the U.S. Air Force, most recently as commander of the 341st Missile Wing at Malmstrom Air Force Base, where he led 4,200 Airmen, civilians and contractors. He’ll oversee day-to-day operations at our new 1.6 million-square-foot campus, which is currently under construction.

“Great Falls has become my home, and this is a chance to help build something lasting in my community,” Dan said.

At Janicki, growth doesn’t stop when you start your career.

Sheena continues to challenge herself throughout 14 years at Janicki, taking on new roles, supporting unique programs and growing through education along the way.

This year, she earned her Master of Science in Management and Leadership with support from Janicki’s tuition assistance program—and she’s currently working towards her MBA.

For Sheena, learning is expanding her skillsets and supporting her teammates and Janicki programs.

Students got a firsthand look at advanced manufacturing, with a focus on machining and the important role it plays in engineering and manufacturing careers.
