Just wrapped up a couple Amply load calculations for an upcoming project.

Instead of guessing equipment sizes like many contractors still do, this uses actual data and science—factoring in insulation levels, window sizes, orientation to the sun, air leakage, square footage, and more to determine the exact heating and cooling load a home needs.

This helps prevent oversized or undersized systems, improves efficiency, comfort, and long-term reliability.

I’ve attached a short video showing part of the process.

Here’s a look at one of the smaller jobs from today. A customer placed a service call because water was dripping out of his low water cutoff. Upon further inspection , we verified the probe was faulty and no longer had a water tight seal. We replaced the probe and verified the boiler was operating properly.
