Teamwork, collaboration, and a shared sense of purpose are at the heart of what we do at Petrochem — and sometimes that shows up outside the jobsite.

The Petrochem team recently came together for a hands-on team building event, creating canvas art that will now be proudly displayed around the office. It was a chance to step away, work together in a different way, and reinforce the connections that make our teams strong.

Moments like this bring people together, build stronger teams, and remind us what it means to work toward a common goal.

Some people lead by title. Others lead by the way they show up every day. At Petrochem, Robert Gonzalez does both.

As a Site Supervisor with 16 years on the team, Robert has built a reputation for leading with consistency, pride, and a deep commitment to both his people and the work. In 2025, he was recognized as Petrochem’s Supervisor of the Year, and the numbers behind that recognition tell a strong story. More than 18,000 safe work hours, over 50 audits submitted with meaningful findings, more than 500 GCGS submitted by his team, and strong project performance across the board.

But what stands out most about Robert is not just the results. It is the level of ownership he brings to everything he does. When asked to share photos from past projects, he sent more than 100. That kind of response says a lot. Robert takes pride in the work, believes in the Petrochem name, and genuinely cares about leaving a mark through the projects and people he supports.

Team members like Robert are a big part of what makes Petrochem strong. We are proud to recognize his leadership, grateful for his contributions, and thankful to have him representing our team so well every day.

We’re thankful to be recognized again with the 2025 NWIBRT Recognition Award, reflecting the sustained safety performance and commitment of our team. Petrochem was also honored to support the event as a Gold Sponsor.

ASRC Industrial is proud to launch our new People First Award, recognizing an Operations Leader each year who exemplifies people-first leadership.

Our inaugural recipient is Brandon Miller, General Manager at Petrochem. Brandon’s commitment to his teams and his impact in strengthening our culture across the ASRC Industrial family make him an exceptional first honoree.

This new annual recognition will be presented each year in alignment with our Season of Gratitude, with award selections made by Veronica Delgado, SVP of Human Resources, and Brad Spears, COO.

Boiler season is underway, and our team is delivering out of the gate.

For our customer LG&E, Petrochem erected a 191-ft-tall, 50-ft-wide, 56-ft-long unit—transported on 13 trucks totaling 585,000 lbs—and completed the full build in just three days.

A project of this scale takes coordination, precision, and a crew that shows up ready.

Field ex*****on was truly all hands on deck, with even senior leadership stepping in to keep the line moving—including HSE Director Ben Agley, who worked alongside the crew in the chain line to maintain safe, efficient progress.

🎀 The Petrochem team proudly joined the fight during Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

By “putting on pink,” our crews showed their support for those affected and helped raise awareness for a cause that matters to us all. 💪💗

👏 Big thanks to Dominick Ancona (Project Manager), Robert Venzor (Supervisor), and the entire Petrochem team for their outstanding work on the Steve and Sons project in Athens, GA.

This project included approximately 100,000 sq. ft. of insulation and lagging, complex hanging scaffolds, and PEMB canopies, siding, and roofing.

As we near completion, we’re proud to have partnered with Steve and Sons on this state-of-the-art facility, which will help create 200+ jobs in Jackson County, GA.

Dominick’s 30+ years of experience and Robert’s 30-year Petrochem career were instrumental in delivering this project safely, on time, and on budget.
