Project Spotlight | St. Vincent Pallotti High School Performing Arts Center

Construction is officially underway on the Phase 2 Performing Arts Center addition at St. Vincent Pallotti High School in Laurel, Maryland, with our crews currently progressing through footers and foundation work.

The new addition will create a dedicated performing arts facility featuring a 3,640 SF theater with a portable stage, a 2,244 SF lobby, gallery space, dance and performance rooms, dressing rooms, a piano room, voice room, private instruction spaces, offices, and additional storage.

The addition will connect into the existing school campus and provide significantly expanded space for theater, dance, music, and other performing arts programs.

We’re excited to see this project begin taking shape from the ground up!

Loughlin-Davis Contracting Group is proud to have recently completed an integral steel er****on package for CMC’s new state-of-the-art micromill in West Virginia.

Working alongside Warner Construction, our team erected four pre-engineered metal buildings totaling approximately 50,000 square feet, including the administration building, mill services building, warehouse, and locker room.

Our scope also included sheeting and roofing the Danieli Fume Treatment Plant enclosure. Standing more than 100 feet tall, this structure presented unique logistical and safety challenges that our crew successfully navigated and completed safely.

Danieli is a global leader in advanced steelmaking and micromill technology. CMC’s new West Virginia micromill is designed to produce up to 500,000 tons of rebar annually while operating as one of the world’s greenest steelmaking facilities.

We appreciate Warner Construction for the opportunity and are proud of our field team for safely executing this challenging industrial project.

We’re proud to officially turn over the newly expanded Meadowridge Pediatrics space for a great client.

This project included the expansion and renovation of their existing facility, adding:

-Six new exam rooms
-A new lab room
-A private office
-A larger provider workspace
-A new administrative and check-in area

The finished space is bright, vibrant, and welcoming, with finishes that blend seamlessly into the existing pediatric center.

Working around existing conditions and completing construction within an occupied facility required careful coordination, communication, and attention to detail. Our team executed the project at a high level and delivered a renovated space that is ready to better serve patients, families, and the surrounding community.

Meadowridge Pediatrics is now accepting new pediatric patients!

Delivering Landmark Projects Across Maryland!

At Loughlin-Davis Contracting Group, we take great pride in the projects we help bring to life and the partnerships that make them possible.

We are proud to have furnished and erected the structural steel and building systems for the new clubhouses at Prince George’s Stadium and Harry Grove Stadium. Working alongside Gilbane Building Company and The Whiting-Turner Contracting Company, our team helped deliver these state-of-the-art facilities through close coordination with owners, design teams, and fellow trade partners.

These projects demanded detailed planning, seamless communication, and a commitment to meeting strict and aggressive schedules. From preconstruction coordination through final installation, our team remained focused on providing quality workmanship, maintaining safety, and keeping the projects moving forward.

Facilities like these will serve athletes, staff, and fans for years to come, and we are honored to have played a role in their construction. Seeing these buildings come together is a reminder of why we do what we do—delivering projects that leave a lasting impact on the communities they serve.

The Gibson Island Service Department project is making tremendous progress!

Building 1 is fully complete, inspected, and officially in service.

In a short time our team has successfully completed:
-Demolition
-Underground utilities
-Footers and foundation piers
-Concrete slab placement
And we've now reached another major milestone — the er****on of the pre-engineered metal building is underway.

As the General Contractor, our focus has been on maintaining a fast-paced schedule while coordinating closely with the owner, design team, subcontractors, and local stakeholders. Through proactive planning, clear communication, and strong field ex*****on, we've been able to keep the project moving efficiently while maintaining quality and safety every step of the way.

We're proud of the progress made so far and look forward to sharing more updates as this project continues to take shape.
