Sometimes the part you need isn't in a catalog. The opening is a different size. The equipment sits in a tight space. The crew needs a steel component that works with the way the job is actually done.

Performance Fab offers custom design and fabrication for those practical needs. Our work includes gates, stairs, truckboxes, and other steel fabrications built around a specific application.

Heavy steel requires the right handling equipment.

Fabrication isn't just cutting and welding. Material also needs to be moved, positioned, and staged throughout the process.

Performance Fab uses multiple jib and overhead cranes to support material handling throughout the shop. It is one of the many behind-the-scenes capabilities that helps make fabrication possible.

Getting the steel built is only part of the process.

Fabricated components still need to be staged, loaded, transported, and delivered.

Performance Fab has flatbed and additional semi-trailer transportation capabilities to help support delivery of fabricated items. Planning those logistics early can make the handoff from shop to jobsite easier to coordinate.

Field conditions do not always match what can be handled entirely within a fabrication facility.

There is something special about seeing your community come together on Main Street.

This past weekend, Performance Fab participated in Seymour’s World’s Largest Hamburger Parade during the 36th annual Burger Fest. Our new Gator joined the parade, with Colton, Markus, and Chad coming out to represent the team. Ron was also part of the day, driving his remodeled tractor through the parade. Community events like this are a reminder that showing up matters.

Our work is rooted in Seymour, and so are many of the people behind it. Taking time to support a local tradition and connect with the community is one small but meaningful way we can be part of something beyond the shop.

Thank you to Colton, Markus, Chad, and Ron for spending part of their Saturday representing Performance Fab - and thank you to the many volunteers who made Burger Fest possible!

Finishing is part of the overall product.

For some applications, fabrication does not end when the welding is complete. Performance Fab has wash-down preparation and paint booth capabilities, along with the ability to prime and paint according to project specifications.

That gives customers another option when planning how their fabricated steel moves through the project.
