Tackling the restoration of a bridge railing over an active river in a high-traffic area is the ultimate test of planning, demanding absolute precision.

The challenge wasn't just repairing the railing; it was guaranteeing public and environmental safety while hitting a tight deadline. Our commitment to zero incidents meant quickly installing a strict Type 2 containment system for environmental protection. Following meticulous SSPC-SP2/SP3 prep, we finished by applying a robust coating system: two coats Sherwin-Williams Macropoxy 646 followed by two topcoats of Acrylon 100. We delivered the quality finish on time, protecting both the structure and the environment!

The importance of Quality Assurance and Quality Control (QA/QC) is critical when it comes to fireproofing. For this project, our team first sandblasted the​ previously delaminated coating from the steel structure and then meticulously applied the Isolatek WB5 Fireproofing Coating throughout the parking garage.

The application successfully passed the final fire inspection, receiving full approval from the third-party inspection company. A huge high-five to the team for their excellent work on this challenging project!

Historical restoration projects often come with unique and demanding challenges. For this church, the first struggle was simply battling the cold—we had to heat the entire space just to work. The most complex task, however, was in the details: meticulously restoring every window.

This required our team to not only replicate intricate wood components but also to source specific restoration glass to match the building’s original panes. It was a true test of patience, but we rose to the challenge. Our team's persistence paid off, and we completed the project, leaving the client thrilled with the results.

Facing a double challenge on this large exterior project! We had to beat the clock to finish the waterproofing before winter, all while working around a fully occupied building.

Our solution was a seamless process: the team started with heavy power washing and caulking, then applied a robust 3-coat Sherwin-Williams waterproofing system to the entire exterior. Mission accomplished: the structure is now protected from water leaks!

It's not every day you get to help save a piece of history! Our team was called in by the local municipality to tackle the rotting column bases on their historic Town Hall. We were able to replicate the decayed bases to their original condition and repair the columns with the Abatron epoxy wood repair system. We were contacted to assist with a historical building that had sustained damage from a recent rainstorm: The Colony House, the fourth-oldest extant statehouse. Built in 1739 on Washington Square in Newport, RI, this landmark needed historical plaster repair and a seamless color match to ensure the repair could not be detected.

To minimize disruption to the Newport Museum's operations, all work was conducted during off-hours. We're proud to have helped restore this piece of history.
