Better fit-up starts before the head reaches the vessel shop.

With Tru-Cut 3D, Brighton Tru-Edge uses laser scanning and multi-axis cutting to precisely position nozzle openings based on the actual geometry of the fabricated head.

The result is a head that arrives ready for the next step—with accurately positioned nozzle holes and custom beveling designed to support cleaner, more efficient welding.

Because when you're building tanks and vessels, precision at the beginning can make a difference all the way through final assembly.

Pickling is one of the most important processes we utilize to extend the life of our materials and ensure the quality of the heads.

This process involves removing specific surface defects and restoring the corrosion resistance by submerging stainless steel heads in our heated 25-foot pickling tank.

October is National Fire Prevention Month, designed to raise fire safety awareness and help protect homes and families.

According to the NFPA, a fire department responds to a fire in America every 24 seconds. Sadly, almost 3 of every 5 home fire deaths resulted from fires with no smoke alarms or no working smoke alarms — this risk can be reduced dramatically through a few basic preventative steps:

👟 If a fire occurs in your home, get out, stay out, and call for help. Never go back inside for anything or anyone.
🚨 Install smoke alarms on every level of your home, inside bedrooms, and outside sleeping areas.
🗣️ Talk with all family members about a fire escape plan and practice the plan twice a year.
🔋 Test smoke alarms every month. If they’re not working, change the batteries.
