Before the New Year, we got an emergency call to remove a damaged galvanization kettle full of cooled molten zinc weighing 160 tons. The rigging company had pulled it up out of the hole with gantry cranes but were struggling to remove it from the building. We looked at this job on Thursday afternoon, mobilized on Friday to remove the old kettle. The plant was concerned about the timeline for getting back operational, so seeing how we handled the initial phase of the work, they hired us to come back on Saturday and set the new replacement kettle in place ready for install. Great last minute rigging job that helped a local business get back online. House move in Selbyville, DE on Rt. 54 last night. The load was 65’ long, 45’ wide and 23’ tall and required line crews from four different utility companies to be involved.

The Expert House Movers crew getting after it again on this historic house relocation. The guys were able to install the steel and wheels, clear out the old foundation walls and relocate this structure to a lay down area onsite in one day! The structure had to be moved so the new foundation can be built and other site work completed. Lifting or moving a home isn’t always a long process. Summer time means portable classroom moving season! Expert House Movers transports portable classrooms for different counties and municipalities a few times a year. These two were moved last night for the Wicomico County Board of Ed. Not having to split them back into two pieces when being transported prolongs the life span of the units and makes for a faster turn around. Go Team!
