This assembly was built and welded entirely at the installation site. Layout, fit-up, and finish welding were performed in the field without shop access or crane support. That constraint governs everything about how the work is sequenced—how the sections are supported through fit-up, where the joints fall, and the order the passes are run so the weldment does not pull out of alignment as it cools.

Field conditions do not lower the standard. The same prep and standard of workmanship apply whether the work takes place in a fabrication bay or on a foothill peak in Siskiyou County.

Projects at this scale demonstrate the depth of capability behind AHT’s field service.

DOT put your trailer out of service? Cracks, structural damage, and wear do not have to keep you parked.

An out-of-service order stops revenue the moment it is written. Frame cracks, deck damage, and worn structural members account for a large share of those findings, and nearly all of them are repairable where the trailer sits.

AHT responds on site with a self-contained welding rig. Cracks are excavated to sound material, welded out full pe*******on, and reinforced where the load path requires it. Certifications cover unlimited thickness in 7018 stick and dual-shield flux-core, which is what allows heavy structural members to be repaired correctly rather than patched.

The equipment does not move. In most cases the unit is back in service without leaving the yard.
