HARDENING SCHOOL ENTRANCES WITH CLEAR ARMOR SL-15 🏫

Protecting our schools is one of the most important responsibilities we have, and it’s a mission we take seriously.

As part of Phase 2 of this school security upgrade, our partners at Clear Armor are installing Clear Armour SL-15, a 15-mil high-performance security laminate with an added reflective tint. This advanced film transforms existing glass doors and windows into a powerful protective barrier designed to withstand repeated impacts and significantly delay forced entry.

Unlike standard glass, laminated security glass remains intact after being struck, buying precious time during emergencies and helping protect students, teachers, and staff when every second matters.

AMP Global Strategies & Staff extend our deepest condolences to the Crawford family and the Wilkes-Barre City Fire Department on the loss of Michael Crawford.

A few years ago, I had the privilege of meeting Mike and speaking with him daily during the headquarters upgrade. In that time, it became clear that Mike was the kind of person you don’t come across often—genuine, humble, and deeply committed to both his work and the people around him. If you knew Mike, you knew you were talking to someone who truly cared and carried himself with quiet strength and integrity.

His dedication as a firefighter/EMT and his service to the community will never be forgotten. More importantly, the impact he had on those who had the honor of knowing him will live on far beyond his years.

Gone too soon, but his legacy of service, kindness, and character will never be forgotten.

Our thoughts and prayers are with his family, friends, and brothers and sisters in the fire service during this incredibly difficult time.

Did you know AMP provides armored vehicle solutions for law enforcement and government agencies?

Our armoring process follows NIJ ballistic protection principles and begins with a full interior disassembly. This allows ballistic-grade aramid (Kevlar®) protection to be precisely integrated throughout doors, pillars, roof structures, and critical overlap areas.

Multi-layer ballistic glass is installed to provide NIJ-consistent ballistic performance while preserving drivability and operational performance.

All components are reinstalled to OEM standards, maintaining a factory interior appearance and full functionality of electronics, controls, and safety systems. From the outside, the vehicle remains discreet. Internally, it is purpose-built to support officer safety and mission readiness.
