Great safety programs require more than just checklists, they require true human connection. This week, we are proud to spotlight our Safety Manager, Mathew Heffley, who joined McAnany Construction in September 2025.

After retiring from a distinguished 25-year career in law enforcement, Mathew transitioned into construction safety with a unique advantage: a completely fresh set of eyes. Mathew has spent his first several months introducing digital training innovations, streamlining field compliance, and building a top-down culture of mutual care.

One mile of progress. 🫡

We’re officially one month into the Edgerton Road Extension, stretching from 103rd South all the way to 111th. Right now, it’s all about the dirt work and laying the foundation for what’s to come.

Building a new road from scratch takes grit, precision, and a lot of horsepower. We’re proud to be on the ground in the City of De Soto getting this one moving.

Keep an eye on this space, this mile is going to look a lot different soon. 🍀
