As a Board Member of the Kansas City Chapter of the National Tooling and Machining Association (KC NTMA), I'd like to share this Kansas City Business Journal article about our upcoming Precision Drives Kansas City Economic Impact Report. The article is available through the included link, and no Business Journal subscription is required.
KC NTMA is a network of precision manufacturers and industry partners working together to strengthen manufacturing through workforce development, education, advocacy, and collaboration. By connecting manufacturers, educators, workforce organizations, and community leaders, we're helping build a stronger future for precision manufacturing throughout the Kansas City region.
The article highlights our upcoming Precision Drives Kansas City launch events on July 22 (Kansas) and July 23 (Missouri), where we'll formally present the findings of our first regional economic impact report. The report provides a powerful foundation for strengthening our collective voice and advancing initiatives that support manufacturers, grow the skilled workforce, and expand opportunities for our industry.

At KC NTMA, we believe we're stronger together. We hope you'll join us as we continue building momentum for the precision manufacturing community.
This summer, KC-NTMA member Swisher Contract Manufacturing helped support the creation of Warrensburg’s first Veterans Park, dedicated during the nation’s 250th anniversary year. That is KC precision shops at their best: technical skill placed in the service of community memory.
