Not a bad week for the crew.

A few of the guys got out on Lake Michigan and put some salmon in the boat, and another group teamed up for the Quasius Safety Olympics.

We appreciate Quasius being a great partner this year and giving us the chance to be part of the event.

We take the work seriously, but it’s good to get the team together outside the normal day-to-day too. Good crews are built on the job, but also away from it.

Rush job, long days, and weekend work! The guys have been kicking butt getting this industrial ductwork built.

Today we caught one of our Youth Apprentices doing a little quality control of his own. 😂 Kids can find a playground anywhere!

Not something you see on a jobsite every day!

This week our crew had a 550-ton crane onsite to set HVAC equipment and piping. This beast showed up with 295,000 lbs. of counterweight, 225' of boom, and our picks were reaching out around 300 feet.

A lift like this doesn’t just happen. There’s a massive amount of planning, coordination, communication, and experience that goes into making sure everything is ready when that hook starts moving.

One of the best parts was watching some of our experienced guys work alongside the younger guys and pass that knowledge down. That’s how you build a strong crew.

The picks went flawless, and our guys knocked it out of the park.

Hats off to everyone involved in the planning and ex*****on. Jobs like this are a great reminder of the talent we have at Aldag Honold and what our crews are capable of when everything comes together.

Today, two of our apprentices represented AH at a job fair hosted by the Advanced Welding Institute of Eagle River. Both of them, along with another one of our apprentices, went through the AWI program before joining our team. This was a pretty cool full-circle moment.

They went the extra mile and put together one heck of a booth. They brought examples of their welds, parts cut on our laser, custom-fabricated funnels, information about the Sheboygan area, and even some great food from customers we’re proud to work with.

This is what it’s all about: skilled tradespeople showing the next generation what a career in the trades can look like and why Aldag/Honold and our community are great places to build a future.

A huge thank-you to AWI for having us, and an even bigger thank-you to our apprentices for stepping up, representing AH the right way, and showing the future workforce what we’re all about.

Today we celebrated our second annual Apprentice Signing Day at Aldag Honold Mechanical!

While most people are enjoying their Saturday, our crew is putting in the hours and getting it done for one of our great customers.
