As we continue to grow, we are looking for a qualified 2nd SHIFT PROCESS TECHNICIAN experienced with plastic injection molding to join our team!
This is a full-time, direct hire position. 2nd shift Monday – Thursday, 3:00 PM – 1:00 AM, with some overtime when required
Starting Rate: $24 - $28 hour based on experience.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES* :
* MUST BE ABLE TO SET A MOLD IN THE PRESS.
* MUST BE ABLE TO IDENTIFY AND TROUBLESHOOT PROCESS TO ADDRESS FLOW LINE ISSUES, KNIT LINES, GATE ISSUES, ETC.
* MUST HAVE AN UNDERSTANDING AND KNOWLEDGE OF BASIC ELECTRICAL, PNEUMATIC, AND HYDRAULIC SYSTEMS.

- Develops, evaluates, and improves manufacturing methods as it applies to the assembly and molding of value-added encapsulated products.
- Analyzes and plans work force utilization, space requirements, and workflow, and designs layout of equipment and workspace for maximum efficiency.
- Confers with vendors to determine product specifications and arrange for purchase of equipment, materials, or parts, and evaluates products according to specifications and quality standards.
- Confers with management, engineering, and other staff regarding manufacturing capabilities, production schedules, and other considerations to facilitate production processes.
- Develops and institutes continuous improvement techniques.
- Provides direction for process stability and methods for control for manufacturing processes.
- Provides technical support and direction for maintenance issues with machinery and auxiliary equipment.
- Has the ability to read and understand blueprints for both products and equipment.
- Responsible for implementing and maintaining process monitoring systems that ensure the statistical compliance to TS16949 standards.
- Qualifies new equipment to verify statistical compliance to company standards.
- Aids in training personnel on new or improved assembly techniques or equipment.
- Provides input and support to daily manufacturing meetings.
- Other duties as deemed necessary to achieve business goals.

QUALIFICATIONS:
· Must have a minimum of 3 years Process Tech experience, preferably in a plastics injection manufacturing industry
· Must have a minimum high school diploma or GED.
