Dan’s Excavating was confirmed low bidder on the Blue Water Bridge Plaza Expansion Project!
The project includes reconstruction of I-94/I-69, M-25 Connector, Blue Water Bridge interchange and ramps to accommodate the reconfiguration of the Blue Water Bridge Plaza including bridge and building construction. Dan’s has partnered with Ajax Paving, CA Hull, Colliers Engineering, DeMaria and many other firms to successfully design and build this project.

On the August 2, 2024 MDOT Letting, Dan’s Excavating was low bidder on the following projects:

I-96 over Grand River Avenue – A project which includes 1.22 mi of hot mix asphalt and concrete pavement reconstruction, drainage, interchange reconfiguration, traffic signal, signing, lighting, pavement markings, retaining walls, bridge construction with 69-inch plate girder, culvert rehabilitation and approach work on I-96 over Grand River Avenue in the city of Brighton, Livingston County.

M24 at Burnside Traffic Signal – Project includes traffic signal modernization with detection on M24 at Burnside Road, Lapeer County

On the July 12, 2024 MDOT Letting, Dan’s Excavating was low bidder on the following projects:

Oakland ITS – A project to upgrade traffic signals with communications to operate SCATS or Centracs and Closed-Circuit cameras at various locations in Oakland County.

Pontiac Trail over Norton Creek – Project consists of bridge reconstruction including culvert removal and replacement with concrete box culvert, storm sewer, concrete sidewalk and ramps and pavement markings on Pontiac Trail over Norton Creek in the city of Wixom, Oakland County.

12 Mile Road – A project consisting of 1.10 miles of hot mix asphalt repair, cold milling and resurfacing, concrete curb, gutter, sidewalk and ramps, drainage improvements, signing and pavement markings on 12 Mile Road from Northwestern Highway to Telegraph Road in the city of Southfield, Oakland County.

Howell Traffic Signal Modernizations – Project includes traffic signal modernization and sidewalk ramp improvements at several locations on I-96BL and M-155 in the city of Howell, Livingston County
